At the time of production during Milan fashion week, the underwater world of Versacepolis felt like one of the only safe places to travel. The pandemic was still a reality, but the live-streamed show, set in a sand-covered dimly lit space with models that looked like glowing sea creatures gave us a moment of sweet escape.
Then earlier this year, Medusa muses Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Mona Tougaard, and Precious Lee transported us back to Versacepolis once again when the luxury Italian label’s Spring 2021 campaign was officially unveiled. Recreating the sexy, fresh, dreamy wet-look first debuted on the runway, the photo campaign features wet hair, low-key radiant makeup, and tons of accessories to compliment Versace’s colorful bags and prints.
For the campaign, each model posed with a piece from the fashion house’s new handbag line, La Medusa. The bag comes in a range of shades, including playful color options (our favorite) and neutrals. The campaign is the first Precious Lee, pictured above, has starred in for Versace.
Lee wears the same ensemble she wore strutting down the runway, a Trésor de la Mer-printed dress and the La Medusa handbag in DV blue. We love everything about this look, and think she makes a great addition to the Versace campaign.
